- American Statistics Index (ASI)
- Master guide
and index to all the statistical publications of the United States federal
government published from 1974 to present. Information indexed by geographic, economic, and demographic
category; by subject; by agency name; and by titles of publications, reports,
and articles. Data may be available at
the federal, state, or local level, and some foreign and international data may
also be available. Available online through ProQuest Statistical Insight.
- Statistical Reference Index (SRI)
- Selective guide to statistical publications issued by private agencies, state agencies, and academic institutions from 1980 to present. Information is indexed by geographic, economic, and demographic category; by subject; by agency name; by titles of publications, reports, and articles; and by issuing source. Data may be available at the federal, state, or local level, and some foreign and international data may also be available. Information at the state and local level that is collected by federal agencies is indexed in the companion publication, American Statistics Index (ASI). Available online through ProQuest Statistical Insight.
- Index to International Statistics (IIS)
- Indexes statistics available in publications issued by
international intergovernmental organizations, such as the United Nations, from 1983 to 2006. Information for 1983 to present is available online through ProQuest Statistical Insight.
- ProQuest Statistical Insight
- Search the American Statistics Index, Statistical Reference
Index, and Index to
International Statistics separately or simultaneously to find U.S. state, U.S. federal, and international statistics on a variety of subjects. For data contained in commercial (i.e., copyrighted) sources it usually provides bibliographic information rather than the actual statistics.
- Population Index
- The primary reference tool for the world's population
literature. Includes an annotated bibliography of books, journal articles, working
papers, and other materials published from 1935 to 2000. Population Index on the Web includes a searchable and
browsable database
containing abstracts published in Population Index from 1986 to the present.
- Macroeconomic Time Series Data Source Locator
- This
customizable database provides a list of macroeconomic data sources
available at the University of Chicago, categorized by year, geographic
location, and subject. Types of sources include books, journals,
yearbooks, CD-ROMs and Internet resources. To find out if an identified
resource is available at UNT, check the Library
Catalog. Items not at UNT may be available through Interlibrary
Loan.
