Introduction

Finding Information at UNT and on the Internet

The focus of this site is on K–12 appropriate Internet resources of selected United States and Texas government agencies as well as those of selected organizations, interest groups, and universities.

This site is also intended as a guide to specific Internet publications and sites that support classroom activities and professional development.

Although middle school and high school students may find this site useful for class assignments and independent projects, it is intended primarily as an Internet guide for educators and parents.

While the domain addresses for a majority of these sites are .gov, .edu, or .org., several domain addresses are .com and are maintained by commercial entities. Copyright notices and fair use privileges will vary from site to site.

Use the side-bar menu for navigation throughout this site and use the Suggestion Form to share with us your favorite K–12 Web resources.

Education Resources for K–12 was initially prepared by Melody Kelly, author of Uncle Sam's 'Net of Knowledge for Schools,  with design and organization assistance from Joann Monahan, Luke Griffin, and Jane Howard.
