The Friends of the University of North Texas Libraries is a non-for-profit group that formed in 1981 to help support the UNT Libraries' research collections. All proceeds from the Trilobite Press chapbooks listed in the catalogue go to the Friends' organization to buy books and other materials for the Rare Book and Texana Collections.

Each friend receives two Trilobite Press chapbooks annually, plus invitations to readings, exhibits, musical events, and other receptions sponsored by the Friends. Members also receive library borrowing privileges.

If you would like to know more about the Friends, such as information on becoming a member, please go the the Friends' home.
