Find Books & Media searches the UNT Libraries Catalog, which contains records for over 5 million items that are owned or subscribed to by the UNT Libraries. This includes:

- Dissertations
- Other physical items owned by the Libraries

Find Online Articles searches the full text of scholarly articles from 6,800+ publishers and 94,000+ journal and periodical titles.
- Over 92% of the online article content that the UNT Libraries subscribes to is available for searching via this tool. That percentage is increasing as new resources are added.
- Scholarly open access repositories are also included.

Find Databases searches the catalog for e-resources that UNT Libraries subscribes to.
- This tool helps you find specific databases that might contain resources for you to use in your research. Once you've found a relevant database, you can then use that database's localized tools to help you search the resources it contains--e-journals, e-books, full-text articles, media, newspapers, magazines, etc.
- If the Find Online Articles tool is giving you too broad or too many results, use this to find a more specialized database to help focus your search.

Find e-Journals helps you find individual electronic journals that UNT Libraries subscribes to--you may search by title, browse by title, or browse by subject. If you are looking to access particular journals online, this is the tool to use.
For the Libraries' print journals, the catalog's Journal Title search is your best bet.
Find UNT Digital Collections searches online content hosted in the UNT Digital Library, The Portal to Texas History, and the The Gateway to Oklahoma History.
- The UNT Digital Library is home to materials from the University's research, creative and scholarly activities, and also showcases content from the UNT Libraries collections.
- The Portal is a gateway to Texas history materials. It includes unique collections of Texas libraries, museums, archives, historical societies, genealogical societies, and private family collections.
- The Gateway is an online repository of Oklahoma history. It provides free online access to the unique items held by the Oklahoma Historical Society.
