The Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance (FMLA) joins the UNT Libraries and UNT Pride Alliance to present this Queer Zine Week event. The QPOC Zine Forum is a workshop on how queer people of color use zines to find a voice. Participants will make their own zines, share stories, and discuss zines' role in building community and empowering zine makers and readers alike. Zines from the workshop can be placed in the Queer Zine Archive Project and the Denver Zine Library.

The FMLA at UNT is a student organization focusing on third wave feminist issues. FMLA is a non-profit, non-partisan, pro-choice organization. FMLA is a group dedicated to ending violence, promoting women's choice, and lots of other lovely progressive things.

The workshop is free and open to the public.
