The Doc Spot Film Series is presented by the UNT Media Library and features thought-provoking and timely documentaries.

Finding Our Voice: The Dallas Gay and Lesbian Community explores the memories and experiences of those who helped develop a thriving gay and lesbian community in the heart of the Bible Belt. Using archival footage and vintage photographs spanning more than six decades, this film tells the story of a community that stood up, spoke out, and confronted crisis.

This semester the series is being co-sponsored by the UNT Libraries Special Collections division, and each screening will take place in the Willis Library Forum (Room 140) at noon. Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch.
