Join UNT Libraries and the Hard Conversations student organization for the kick off of the Great Stories Club: The Art of Change reading and discussion series.

The program is centered on a book-club style reading of three titles themed around personal transformation through adversity: M. K. Asante’s BuckA Memoir, Sherman Alexie’s Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian, and Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel Persepolis. As part of the award, we received copies of the books for 8 participants, and have placed additional copies on reserve. Students completing the program will be allowed to keep the books.

Come to the kick off meeting to learn more about the program and get a copy of the first book, Buck: A Memoir by M.K. Asante.
