10. Where can I purchase parking permits at Discovery Park?
To better serve the students and staff at UNT and the Discovery Park campus, Parking Services will be staffing the Discovery Park information booth from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Dedicated staff will issue visitor parking permits to non-students, staff, and faculty with a picture ID that request them and have not already acquired their two free visitor parking permits for the academic school year.
Non-students, staff, and faculty that have already acquired their two free visitor parking permits and without a valid UNT parking permit, may purchase a permit from the Parking Office at 1700 Wilshire Street or pay to park at the parking meters.
Departments may purchase visitor parking permits in bulk and in advance at the Parking Office for $4.00 per permit. These are scratch off technology and only valid for 1-day parking pass. Temporary parking permits for a longer duration are also available and can be purchased for $4.00 a day, $20.00 per week, or $35.00 for two weeks.
For further information, please contact the Parking office at (940) 565-3020 or at www.unt.edu/parking.
