Scanning Areas

Specifying the Scan Area

  • A temporary scanning is performed based on the set values, and the image is displayed in the Preview Window. After previewing the image, the area to be scanned can be specified.

Scanning areas

  • Use the following procedure to specify the scanning area in the preview window.

    Arrow Setting:
  1. Press the left button at the desired start point (left edge, top edge) of the scanning area. (The shape of the cursor changes to "+".)
  2. Drag to enlarge the scanning area. (A frame is displayed as the cursor moves.)
  3. Release the left button to determine the end point of the scanning area.

Arrow Move:
  1. Move the mouse cursor to inside the frame. (The cursor changes to the shape of a hand.)
  2. Press the left mouse button. (The cursor changes to the shape of a gripping hand.)
  3. Drag to move the frame. 4.Release the left button to determine the destination of the move.

Arrow Deleting the frame:

  1. Click the left button outside of the frame (but within the scanning size of the document).
  2. Select other image.
