Title to Collection
Title, Identifier, Note, Institution, and Collection
-Title:- for an object with an obvious title, transcribe the title exactly as it appears on the resource. If the resource has no title, make one up and put it in square brackets [ ], and the "Type of Title" will normally be "Main Title."
-Identifier:- the resource's identifier might be a URL, URI, accession number, ISSN, ISBN, OCLC number, or any other string that uniquely identifies the item. Use the Type element drop-down box below the identifier to specify what the identifier is.
-Note:- use the note element to provide additional information, not entered elsewhere or cannot be entered in other elements. But do not search for extra information to place in the note field.
-Institution:- refers to the institution that owns the resource being described--in other words, your institution.
-Collection:- if your materials come from a particular collection within your institution, we will have added your specific collection name to the drop-down box for the Collection field.
