The Digital Projects Unit operates two specialized printers to support the work of other UNT Libraries departments.
Model: Epson Stylus Pro 9900
Manufacturer: Epson America, Inc., Long Beach California, an affiliate of Seiko Epson Corporation
Features: prints up to 44-inch width; resolution up to 2880 x 1440 dpi; uses Epson UltraChrome HDR ink with lightfastness ratings up to 200 years for color and over 200 years for black and white
How we use it: printing UNT Libraries promotional materials as well as scholarly posters, maps, and photographs
Model: HP Photosmart 7550 Printer
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard Company, Palo Alto, CA
Features: color LCD allows previews; paper tray holds up to 100 sheets; HP inks and papers resist fading for up to 65 years
How we use it: occasional printing of 8 x 10 and smaller photographs for UNT Libraries departments
