1. Where are the graduate carrels located?
Graduate carrels are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Willis Library. The Music Library carrels are located on the 4th floor of Willis Library.
2. Who can reserve a graduate carrel?
UNT graduate students and UNT faculty may reserve a graduate carrel for a semester.
3. How do I reserve a graduate carrel?
For carrels on 2nd and 3rd floor of Willis Library, you must apply in person at the Willis Library Circulation Desk. For carrels on 4th floor, apply at the Music Library Service Desk.
4. Are any locked carrels available?
There are a limited number of locked carrels available on the 3rd floor of Willis Library. These can be reserved only by doctoral students. Apply at the Willis Library Circulation Desk for one of these carrels.
5. Where is Lost and Found?
The circulation desks in each library has a lost and found section.
6. What is the Library Annex Reading Room?
Graduate students and faculty members may request that remote storage books be pulled and placed in the Library Annex Reading Room for examination by the individual.
7. How do I make an appointment for use of the Library Annex Reading Room?
Contact the Circulation Department by phone at (940) 565-2413 or e-mail circ@unt.edu. Appointments are available Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. At least 24 hours advance notice is required.
8. Does the library have laptops available for checkout?
Yes. There are 10 laptops available at the Willis Library Reserve Desk, 1st Floor. There are 20 laptops available at the Science and Technology Library Circulation Desk. For more information click on Laptops for Checkout.
