Fentress, David W. 

A collection of family letters including those of David W. Fentress, a Confederate physician from Texas, concerning his experiences in the army in Arkansas (1862-1863), Louisiana (1864), and Texas (1862, 1865).  the collection also includes correspondence from his mother, Maud C. Fentress, from Bolivar, Tennessee (1865-1869) and other family members.  The collection is housed in 1 box.

 

 Fort Worth Stockyards 

Records (1893-1973)relating to the business activities of the Fort Worth Stockyards Company including: correspondence, financial documents, legal documents, printed material, and ledgers.  Included are the files of Kennerly Robey, engineer; William L. Pier, manager; and John W. Dies, treasurer.  Records concerning the American Stock Yards Association, a national trade association, and the Fort Worth Livestock Handling Company, a subsidiary to the Fort Worth Stockyards Company, are also included.  The collection is housed in 307 boxes.

 

Fowler, C. R., Hardware Company 

The papers of C. R. Fowler Hardware Company concerning its ownership and operation in Krum, Texas between 1920 and 1972.  The collection includes: correspondence, financial documents, ledgers, and clippings.  There are 10 boxes in this collection.
