Political Pinnings

A selection of political buttons and memorabilia provide a tour of American presidential elections from 1884 to 1988.  The two major parties (Republicans and Democrats) are represented, as well as a few third party candidates.  Buttons that demand attention for issues, organizations, movements, and parties are also on display.  See how previous generations celebrated and promoted their candidates. The exhibit is in the University Archives, Room 430 and will be on display July 7 through December 19, 2008.
