Coal and UNT

 Power Plant

 Power Plant c.1916.

The history of coal on the UNT campus is vague, due in large part to its ubiquitous use during the early years of the school.  This exhibit explores the utilization of coal by the school and boarding houses during the early 1900s.  The exhibit is on display in the Hurley Administration Building from August 28, 2009 to December 23, 2009.
