Renovations and Changes in the Information Sciences Building
International Programs will be moving to the second floor of the Information Sciences. To accomplish this, the University Libraries will vacate the second floor library space by October 1, 2007 and the School of Library and Information Sciences will move to the Research Park in June 2008.
Library collections housed on the second floor of the Information Sciences Building will be relocated as follows:
- The Juvenile Collection will move to the Lower Level of Willis Library
- The Curriculum Materials Center will also move to the Lower Level of Willis Library
- The Library Science Book Collection will move to the Research Park. While these materials are moved, unpacked and re-shelved, please check with the Circulation Desk, 1st Floor, Science and Technology Library for assistance.
- The Library Science current and bound periodical collections and Library Science reference materials will remain in their current locations on the first floor and in the lower stacks of the Science and Technology Library until they are moved in June to the Research Park.
We apologize for any inconvenience these moves may cause you but they are unavoidable. Please ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk, Science and Technology Library, or email circ@library.unt.edu
